LONDON (Agencies): British-Pakistani entrepreneur Aqib Hasaan has officially announced his sponsorship of professional boxer Muhammad Waseem for his next eight fights. The announcement came during a meeting between the two in London, marking a significant milestone in Waseem’s boxing career.

Hasaan emphasized that this collaboration goes beyond financial support. “This partnership is more than just sponsorship — it reflects shared values of resilience, ambition, and a commitment to building a brighter future for Pakistanis both at home and abroad,” he said.

Highlighting Waseem’s remarkable journey, Hasaan added, “With over 26 years of experience and more than 300 fights under his belt, Muhammad Waseem’s dedication is exactly what our Dream Beyond initiative is meant to showcase. We launched the platform with motorsport star Enaam Ahmed, and extending our support to Waseem is a continuation of our mission to celebrate Pakistani excellence on a global stage.”

Hasaan also noted the international attention surrounding Waseem’s upcoming fight in Quetta. “This event has drawn interest from across the world, with fighters flying in from the UK and USA, and support from boxing legends like Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather. Our collaboration with Waseem is deeply rooted in a long-standing personal connection, reinforcing our genuine commitment to community-driven support.”

He urged other businesses to step up as well: “Talents like Muhammad Waseem deserve our full backing. I encourage others to join us in supporting such inspiring individuals.”

Expressing gratitude, Waseem said, “At this crucial point in my career, this support is invaluable. I’ve participated in over 300 fights, including more than 15 at the world level. Aqib Hasaan’s backing means a great deal to me, and I’m truly thankful.”
